This article will guide you through the Discussions page in devActivity, where you can monitor and track conversations happening in your GitHub Discussions.
This report can be enabled/disabled by Org Admin from Settings->General.
The Discussions page displays a list of discussions from your GitHub repository. Each row represents a single discussion and includes the following information:
Title: The title of the discussion.
Status: Indicates whether the discussion is Open or Closed.
Last Activity: Shows the date and time of the last activity in the discussion.
Comments: Displays the number of comments in the discussion.
Answered By: Shows the user who last answered the discussion.
Filtering Discussions
You can filter the list of discussions to focus on specific conversations.
Period: Select a timeframe to view discussions within that period (e.g., 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 24 months, or custom).
Status: Filter by Open or Closed discussions.
Last Activity: Sort discussions by the date and time of the last activity.
Comments: Sort discussions by the number of comments.
Answered By: Sort discussions by the user who last answered them.
Exporting Data
You can export the discussions data to a CSV file for further analysis or sharing.
Click the Export to CSV button at the page's bottom right corner.
